CE THEATER CLASS:
We will also be hosting an educational session in the CE Theater C. Our talk on Continuous Insulation: Roof to Walls (program code EX302) will be from 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm on Thursday, June 6th. We will discuss the National Energy Code for Buildings that are set by the International Code Council and other organizations. Talking on the topic are our Group Channel Manager, Derek Nickum in our Roofing Systems division and our Sr. Specifier Services Representative, Jeff Job from our Insulation Systems division.
1) Understand what a thermal bridge is, identify different types, and describe their impact on the thermal efficiency and condensation risk within exterior walls and roofs.
2) Define CI and its role and understand the different types of CI materials and their various performance properties.
3) Appreciate the health, safety, and welfare pertaining to CI systems, such as improved occupant comfort and interior air quality.
4) Identify various CI applications within different wall assemblies, general performance of these assemblies, and the impact of CI applications on other building systems.
